PASADENA KITCHEN REMODEL

Our customer wanted to enlarge the kitchen and utilize the most out of the area. They also wanted to modernize their living space. We not only enlarged the kitchen space we were able to give them more storage space and counter space. Installing flooring in a herringbone style really gave it a more modern look and feel.

The Challenges

The challenges for this one were they wanted to go from an electric range to a gas range, so we had to run a gas line under the sub flooring across the living room and up into the new island, the fire place was also reset. It had to be raised off the floor and centered between the two side windows. A hearth and mantle were also built along with the stoning up the wall. The herringbone floor add an extra degree of difficulty by having it meet up and match perfectly around the island. But in the end it all turned out beautiful.
